This section of the site is going to be a bit of a smorgasboard of information, news about the clinic or training programs, articles that I have written myself or just topical issues relevant to us all.

Our Facebook page has the most current new if you car to check it out.

Paula went to Japan in November 2012 to study with the acclaimed paediatric acupuncturist Tanioka sensei in Osaka. The clinic is now set up to treat children of all ages with  a specialised non insertion stroking tool or shonishin. Fees for these subtle but effective treatments are for children from up to 5 $30 and from 6 to 17, $60. We can schedule appointments around kids sleeps, please come a little before your appointment time so the children can settle in the kids space through play (if old enough).

In October 2014, Paula presented at the annual conference of the Japan Society of Paediatric Acupuncture (Nihon Shoni Hari Gakkai) held at the Morinomiya Medical College in Osaka. It was a great honour to be invited to present, in spite of the challenges of being gaijin with very little japanese language skills. Thankfully her trusty assistant Junko accompanied her to translate. She was asked to present some of the paediatric cases she has been treating. Paula is the first person from Australia to be using the particular style of shonishin which has been transmitted directly, through the Tanioka family lineage.
